Wait 6 to 8 hours before allowing light foot traffic. Wait 8 to 12 hours before allowing heavy foot traffic. Wait 24 hours before there is light vehicle traffic when. Vacuum or sweep dirt off the floor.
After proper sweeping, wash the cement floor with water, liquid soap, or detergent. Make sure that there are no foreign materials or dust on the floor. In a waterbed, surfaces need time to remove grease or oil. After cleaning, run your fingers across the surface to check if it has dried.
When there's a lot of white waste, then you're good to go. We do not recommend using aggressive detergents, acids or alkalis, as they can damage the garage floor covering. Floor stripping agents, citrus-based cleaners, and corrosive chemical degreasers are also not recommended, as they can damage the floor if applied and allowed to sit for an extended period of time.
